DESCRIPTION: This course has been designed to teach the students various tools, from keyboard and mouse to fonts and clipart, made available by computers. When dealing with any artistic medium you must not only learn the various options available but also be able to think, see and feel in that medium and use the tools to communicate it.

OBJECTIVES: The graduate should be able to use the computer to perform desktop publishing task as well as design and manipulate various objects to communicate in graphics from.

CAREERS: Advertising designer, page layout designer, desktop publishing, various entry-level positions in the printing industry.
