AA - Education for Teaching Abroad
ASSOCIATE OF ARTS IN EDUCATION FOR TEACHERS ABROAD, A.A.
DESCRIPTION: The Associate's degree in Education for Teachers Abroad will prepare entry-level practitioners for leadership and teaching positions in their work with educating adults in the international teaching setting. As an interdisciplinary field of study, the Adult and Higher Education concentration seeks to understand how adult learners learn, as well as other important post-secondary issues facing today's higher education system.
OBJECTIVES: To can help professionals train for a specific type of teaching careers. Many teaching positions are open to those with an associate's degree.
CAREERS: ESL Teachers, General Education and Business Teachers
Requirements: Seven (7) General Education Courses = 28 Credits (with all Associate Degree programs of study)
General Education Courses include: CSC 100, College Success Course, PD 101, Professional Development, ECO 101, Economics, ENG 101, HIS 101, PSY 101- Psychology, SOC 101 - Sociology.
